A Road Accident

Introduction- Road accident is a global tragedy with the ever rising trend. Almost every day, we hear the news of the accident on the television, radio and internet.
Place of Accident- Last Saturday, while I was going to cinema with my brother at Golcha cinema at Daryaganj in Delhi, I witnessed a serious accident. The scene of the accident is still vivid in my mind.
Description- We were getting late for the show, we began walking faster along the crowded road. All of a sudden there was loud noise. I saw a man rolling on the ground. He was knocked down by a car. The driver was driving it at a normal speed. He saw a lorry coming from the opposite direction, it was being driven rashly. The car driver feared a collision. He tried to turn the vehicle aside, but his clutch wire broke and the machine got out of his control. It ran into a passerby and hit the pavement. The man was seriously wounded. He sustained injuries on the head and face. His nose was bleeding and his leg was badly bruised.
How to Avoid Road Accidents?-Everyone needs to be well aware of the traffic rules. Everyone going on the road must be to the left and let other vehicles pass on the opposite direction to pass. Drivers should be in slow speed while bending or turning on the roads. Bikers or people using two wheel vehicles must wear helmets of superior quality otherwise they should never go on the road without helmet.
Conclusion-I believe good road manners and roads safety campaigns can help to reduce the number of road accidents which cause injuries, loss and lives and properties.
